Frederick W. Baum, DVM


Dr. Baum is a graduate of the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University. He completed a preceptorship during his senior year at the Animal Medical Center in New York City and continued on to practice two more years at the Park East Animal Hospital in Manhattan. He is the author of several veterinary professional journal articles printed in both the United States and England. He coauthored a report of neuroaxonal dystrophy in Rottweilers with Cornell neuroanatomist Alexander Delahunta, which was printed in the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Rick is an avid polo player and is a founder of the Green Mountain Polo Club in Vermont. He is also a player at the Saratoga Polo Club in Saratoga, New York. He lives in Arlington with his wife, Catherine, and daughter, Sarah, with their dogs, cats, and horses.
